Maharashtra Police Booked MNS Workers Over Loudspeaker Issue

Pune, 4th May 2022: The Maharashtra police were seen in action mode, as they began to book MNS workers as preventive measures to avoid any major untoward incidents within the state following the ultimatum given by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray to get rid of loudspeakers from Mosques by May 4.
The Pimpri-Chinchwad police have booked many MNS workers who were chanting Hanuman Chalisa near mosques on Wednesday morning in Pune and other places in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, the MNS president Raj Thackeray has shared an old video lately Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb on loudspeakers issue, therefore police started the action against MNS workers.
Though, Mumbai police have already served notices to MNS chief Raj Thackeray and case has been registered against him for his inflammatory speech during the general public rally in Aurangabad last Sunday.
The police have deployed heavy security in Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad and Mumbai to take care of law and order situations in state. The heavy security also deployed near the house of Raj Thackeray residence in Mumbai.
According to police, nearly 80 thousands MNS workers in Maharashtra have received notices and lots of are booked under different IPC for disturbing law and order in Maharashtra.

controversy has created the strain in state after Raj Thackeray shared the old video of his uncle and late Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray on social media today. “The state home Ministery has already issued order to all or any police head quarters directing to require strict action against those trying to destabilize peace and harmony within the name of loudspeakers,” said a senior policeman of crime branch Pune.
