NDA 2 Notification 2025 Released for 406 Posts, Application Process Begins
New Delhi, 31st May 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the NDA 2 Notification 2025 on 28th May 2025, revealing 406 openings in the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), as well as the Indian Naval Academy (INAC).
The NDA 2 exam, scheduled for 14th September 2025 (Sunday), aims to select eligible candidates through a two-stage process—a written test followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). This round of recruitment is meant for the 156th NDA Course and the 118th INAC Course, both commencing on 1st July 2026.
Interested applicants must submit their forms online only via upsconline.nic.in. Any other mode of application submission will not be entertained. Those who missed applying for NDA 1 this year have another opportunity through NDA 2.
As detailed in the notification, both male and female candidates who are unmarried, have cleared Class 12, and fall in the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years, are eligible to apply. The application process began on 28th May 2025, and the deadline to apply is 17th June 2025 (11:59 PM).
Applicants from the General category must pay a fee of Rs. 100, which can be paid either online or by visiting any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI). However, SC/ST candidates, female applicants, and dependents of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempt from the fee.
