Pune, 18th August 2023: In a remarkable development, the Airport Authority of India is on track to unveil the impressive Integrated Terminal Building (NITB) at Pune Airport. This cutting-edge facility, set to be completed by September 2023 and commissioned in October 2023, boasts a whopping built-up area of 50,000 square meters and comes with a hefty price tag of Rs. 475 Crore.
The new terminal, which exudes sophistication, will boast five passenger boarding bridges, a whopping 34 check-in counters, and a streamlined in-line baggage handling system. At the forefront of modern infrastructure, the NITB has been ingeniously designed for energy efficiency, securing a coveted Four-Star GRIHA rating. One of the most anticipated features is the introduction of three aerobridges, ingeniously constructed to link the new terminal with its predecessor.
