Pune District Reports 826 New COVID Cases Today, 1930 Discharged

Pune, 14th June 2021: A total of 826 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 1930 people were discharged from hospitals. 15 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 11,471 active patients in the district and 7077 of them are admitted in hospitals while 4394 are in home isolation. Out of 826 new cases, 187 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 158 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 87 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 5 in cantonments and 389 in rural areas.
Among the 15 deaths, seven were in PMC, three in PCMC, two in municipal councils and three in rural areas. Out of 1930 discharged patients, 319 were in PMC, 713 were in PCMC, 116 in municipal councils, 10 in cantonments and 772 in rural areas.
