Pune: Lonavala Police Take Action Against Eateries And Tourists Who Continue To Stay At Tiger Point Post Time Limit

Lonavala, 13th December 2022: The police administration took action against seven eateries, who were doing business at 3 am at Tiger Point, a famous tourist spot in Lonavala. Police also took action against a driver who was drunk and driving, along with 14 tourists, who created a disturbance at Tiger Point.

 

IPS officer Sathyasai Karthik, who is the Lonavala sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), went along with his team and took this action at 3 am on Monday. The businessmen violated the time limit and continued to stay inside even when the gate was closed at night.

 

Complaints were often received by the young officer that illegal activities and the sale of intoxicating substances was going on at Tiger Point. After midnight on Sunday, when his team suddenly visited Tiger Point, it was seen that some shops were open and there was a commotion of tourists.

 

The action was taken by a team of SDPO Karthik, police inspector Kishore Dhumal of Lonavala rural, assistant police inspector Nilesh Mane, police constable Nitesh Kawade, Dhanve, Gaikwad, Pravin Urkirde, Pancharas, and Pandit.

 

Speaking about this, the IPS officer said, henceforth the businessmen doing business in the Tiger Point area should follow the time restrictions. Tourists who come for tourism should enjoy nature without disturbing the tourist spots, and no one should do any act that will disturb the public peace. No one should drive under the influence of alcohol.
