Pune Postal Department Extends Special Drive On Aadhaar Enrolment And Updation
Pune, 11th September 2021: Pune Postal Region of Department of Posts has been conducting a Special Drive for Aadhaar Enrolment for children and Aadhar updation/ mobile linking in Pune District from 07/09/2021 to 11/09/2021 through Post Offices and Postmen.
Post offices, postmen and Gramin Dak Sevak have gone out of their way to give Aadhar enrollment and updation services to the public, even on festival days from early in the morning to late at night. Many have worked tirelessly to do more than 100 Aadhar updations each every day.
Looking to the overwhelming public response for the campaign in the entire Pune District and respecting the intense demand from members of the public to extend the campaign, Pune postal region has decided to extend the campaign for Aadhar Enrolment / Updation, child Enrolment in the entire Pune District till 15th September 2021.
As the next step in customer facilitation, Pune Postal Region is also arranging door-step cash withdrawal from any bank account through Aadhar Enabled Payment System for Pune District on 16th and 17th September 2021in Pune, Ahmednagar, Satara and Solapur districts. This facility can be used by all the members of the public for withdrawing money from any of their own Aadhar linked bank accounts even if they do not have a post office or IPPB account.
This will be a doorstep service and most beneficial for the Senior Citizens and Homemakers especially. All they have to do is to contact their nearest post office or area postmen.
Pune postal region has invited all citizens in Pune District to take maximum benefit of the drives organized for their benefit.
