Pune: Ruby Hospital Kidney Racket Scam Investigation Committee Formed

Pune, 21st July 2023: In response to the active kidney racket case that came to light at Ruby Hospital last year, a special investigation committee has been established to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter. The Koregaon Park Police filed a criminal complaint in this regard, leading to the formation of the committee. The committee, headed by retired High Court Justice Chandrakant Bhadang, has also included senior police officers and experts in organ transplantation.

Dr. Parvez Grant, the Chief Doctor of the Nephrology Department at Ruby Hospital, along with other expert doctors, faced allegations and was charged with involvement in the kidney racket.

The committee aims to submit its comprehensive report within three months.

During the course of the investigation, the committee will examine all the allegations meticulously and gather concrete evidence. If any irregularities are found during the investigation, appropriate measures will be suggested to prevent their recurrence in the future.
