Pune: Wagholi School Employee Booked For Showing Porn Video To Student

Wagholi, 22nd April 2024: A shocking incident has come to light where a staff member of a reputed school in Wagholi attempted to sexually molest a 10-year-old student. Based on a complaint from the student’s mother, Lonikand police station has registered an FIR against the employee for offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).

According to the information given by the police, on April 19, the employee asked the student his name and said, “Do you watch movies? I’ll show you a movie, come with me to the toilet..,” the student refused. However, the accused tried to molest him.

Afraid of this act, the student ran away. After this, the employee followed him and showed a pornographic website on his mobile phone and threatened not to tell anyone. The frightened student told the incident to his mother who approached the police.

Kailas Kare, senior police inspector of Lonikand police station, said that the investigation is going on in this regard.
