RPF Recruitment 2024: Notification Out for 2250 Constable And SI Posts

New Delhi, 4th January 2024: The Railways Recruitment Board has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (Exe.) and Constables (Exe.) in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and other important details related to the recruitment here or on the official website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

The current round of recruitment aims to fill up 2000 vacancies in the rank of Constable and 250 vacancies in the rank of Sub-Inspector in RPF/RPSF. Out of these, 10% of vacancies will be reserved for ex-servicemen, and 15% will be for women candidates.

The recruitment process will be conducted in three phases:

Phase 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) by RPF

Phase 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), both to be conducted by RPF

Phase 3: Document verification by RPF

Age Limit

The minimum age requirement for Sub Inspector (Executive) is 20 to 25 years, while the age limit for Constable (Executive) is 18 to 25 years. However, upper-age relaxation applies to candidates from reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

Sub Inspector: Graduate from a recognized university.
Constable: 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Candidates should note that a degree from a recognized university for Sub-Inspector and a matriculation certificate for Constable from a recognized Board shall only be considered valid.
