Two-And-A-Half-Year-Old Child Kidnapped From Pune Railway Station

Pune, 12th December 2022: The Government Railway Police (GRP), Pune, are investigating the kidnapping case of a two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Pune railway station.
The boy’s parents, originally from Jharkhand, work in the city. On Saturday (10th December) night, the couple left for their hometown with their child. At around 8:30 pm, the trio was standing on a platform of Pune railway station, when a woman and her companion approached them. After getting to know the couple, the group continued chatting. The woman gave her food to the child. Stating that they wished to give the child more food, the woman and her companion took the child away from his parents.
The couple began to panic when the duo did not return with the child. They lodged a complaint with the GRP police station. A case of kidnapping has been registered and a search is on for the woman and her accomplice who escaped with the child. The police have seized the CCTV footage of the railway station premises for investigation.
