List Of Employees To Be Laid Off Being Prepared By Accenture

New Delhi, 1st March 2023: On March 23, 2023, Accenture announced that it would be letting go of nearly 19,000 workers in the coming months. The company has not yet specified the precise start date for the layoffs or the affected departments.

India Today Tech stated that the company’s HR has begun compiling a list of employees who are anticipated to be let go.

There are many employees at the tech company who are not working on any projects, and the HR department has begun compiling a roster of those individuals. According to the report, these workers will be the first ones to be laid off.

Additionally, Accenture has already made a hint in its SEC report that it has started the layoff process. The business claimed that to cut expenses in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2023, it has started taking steps to streamline operations and transform non-billable corporate functions.

Accenture also mentioned that the company’s choice to streamline its operations will have an impact on close to 19,000 employees over the following 15 months. About 2.5% of Accenture’s existing workforce will be represented by this.

It’s important to mention that 40% of the company’s employees are based in India.
