Pune: Fire At Paint Factory In Dhayari, No Casualties Reported
Dhayari, 14th March 2023: A fire broke out in a paint factory located at Ganesh Nagar Galli No. 22 in the Dhayari area of Pune, causing massive damage.
The fire broke out at around 7 pm, and preliminary information suggests that five to six cylinders exploded in the blaze. Eight vehicles from PMRDA and Pune fire brigade rushed to the spot to control the situation. Although there was no loss of life, smoke was seen in the surrounding area.The paint factory is situated in a locality that also houses factories and sheds, which caused the fire to spread quickly. A cylinder inside the paint factory exploded eight to ten times, creating a massive inferno.
The fire brigade and several PMRDA fire brigades are working together to douse the flames. Additionally, police officers and Sinhagad Road Police Station staff have arrived at the scene to provide assistance.
