PMPML Awards Free Bus Passes To Winners of Lucky Draw Held On Pune Bus Day

Pune, 4th May 2022: ‘Bus Day’ was recently celebrated on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML). On that day, PMPML had organized commendable activities like a lucky draw for the passengers traveling by bus. The winners of the lucky draw were announced today.

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of PMPML, various programs were organized from April 14 to April 23. The Bus Day was celebrated on April 18.

For the first time, for the citizens who are traveling by PMPML bus, ‘Lucky Draw’ was organized. The names of the lucky draw winners were announced on the anniversary of the PMPML. For the winner, an annual free pass was given. Half yearly free pass for second place, free pass for the three months for third place including 14 Runner-Up.

As a stimulus, 94 passengers have been given free quarterly passes. PMPML joint MD Chetna Kerure felicitated Sushma Bhujbal, a resident of Bhujbal Vasti, Wakad, who secured the first place in a lucky draw. The remaining passes were handed to the winners in the presence of Aishwarya Patil, Dheeraj Dubey, Aditya Kudale, and Pravin Kamble who are the winners of the three months free pass and were given a representative pass.

“PMPML has done a great job by arranging the lucky draw coupons. Due to such an innovative initiative, passengers will definitely be inspired to travel by bus more often,” said Sushma Sadashiv Bhujbal, winner of a lucky draw.

Pravin Kabale, a resident of Kondhwa-Budruk stated that, “I am very happy to receive the quarterly pass. Receiving this pass showed the transparency of the work, as well as the enthusiasm and care of the PMPML management towards the passengers. It is my wish that this project will continue.”
